Absolutely amazing experience! The Persian and Azerbaijani cuisine was beyond delicious—every dish was bursting with flavor. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff were incredibly kind. Perfect spot for a great night out with fantastic food, drinks, and especially wine! Highly recommend!

This restaurant is truly exceptional! The food, the service, everything is outstanding. Ana is a gem who brings so much warmth to the experience, and her desserts and drinks are next-level. You have to try her fresh watermelon mint drink and cherry sundae with pashmak, SO good! The kashke bademjoon is to die for and the zereshk polo is just pure perfection. Every dish they make is packed with flavor, and the meats are unbelievably tender and juicy. What makes this place even more special is that it’s 100% family-run and you can genuinely taste the love in every bite. If you’re lucky enough to live nearby (we happily make the drive in from Jersey City), and haven’t stopped in yet, do yourself a favor and go. You’ll only wish you had discovered it sooner. Zaffron Bloom is a true gem in every way.

Saffron Bloom is one of those rare spots where you immediately feel the heart behind the operation. It’s a family-run place with a real person at the helm, and you can tell. The vibe is warm and welcoming—nothing flashy, just a comfortable, sincere atmosphere that makes you want to linger a little longer. The staff are genuinely polite and friendly, and while they’re clearly juggling a lot (as both they and other guests have noted, they’re a bit understaffed), their attention and care really shine through. Be patient, and you’ll see how much effort they put into making guests feel at home. As for the food—it’s solid with some room for growth. The saffron rice stood out, fragrant and perfectly cooked, and we were pleasantly surprised by a complimentary tahdig, which was a lovely gesture and much appreciated. The kabobs, while decent, could benefit from better meat selection or preparation—something that might improve as the place grows. All in all, we’ll definitely be back. Supporting a local family business like this feels good, and with the kind of hospitality and vibe they offer, I’m hopeful that the food will continue to improve—especially the kabobs. Here’s to cheering them on as they fine-tune their craft.

the best decision i made all day was deciding to give this place a try! the drinks were absolutely amazing (i got the pomegranate lemonade and my sister got the hibiscus) and the food was even BETTER (chicken wrap! and eggplant dip was so so good)! the people were so nice (one woman especially who went out of her way to help me out) and i wish i could eat here every day and have such a fun time!!!!!

My wife wanted to treat me to something special for my birthday, and we were lucky enough to stumble upon this absolute gem of a restaurant. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with such warmth, both of the owners greeted us personally, setting the tone for what would be a truly memorable evening. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and the food... absolutely delicious. The kebabs were perfectly cooked, and to our surprise, the chef even came by to ask how we liked them, such a thoughtful touch that made us feel truly valued as guests. Our waitress was exceptional, attentive, kind, and genuinely friendly. When she found out it was my birthday, she returned with a surprise dessert, complete with a candle on top. That small gesture meant so much and made the night even more special. All in all, it was an incredible experience from start to finish. We left with full hearts and full stomachs. Highly, highly recommend!

A FOODIE’S FIND OF A SUPERB AUTHENTIC PERSIAN CUISINE in northeastern NJ. It’s a family owned restaurant, outstanding home cooking. The menu is very short and sweet, a very sign of mastery by the cook. A personalized instruction of the foods is given by the server/proprietor. SERVINGS ARE LARGE, the food is shareable. But for those with big appetite, each dish is something to SLOWLY SAVOR AND ENJOY THE TREAT OF PERSIAN COOKING. It is heavenly. Hashne-e-Bademjoon::: traditional Persian smoked eggplant salad (considered a “dip”). The smoky flavor is amped up by a heavenly mint oil the eggplant chunks are sauteed in. Olivieh salad::: a most delightful salad of potato, carrots, peas and eggs. Wonderfully creamy and flavorful. Very textural. Must-o-Musir::: a heavenly refreshing thick yogurt, the shallots adds a surprising dimension of spiciness to the cooling property of freshly made yogurt Tahdig::: a most delightful traditional Persian crispy rice. It’s a lovely dish of a very crispy rice cake (tortilla) on top of savory rice. An extra Gormeh Sabzi, fragrant meat stew, over the crispy rice cake multiplies the flavor....WOW WOW. THERE’S A LOT MORE TO EXPLORE ON THE MENU. IT WILL BE WORTH COMING BACK. Oh, they deliver within a 10-mile radius. Order directly from their website . The restaurant is very pleasant. Minimalist decor and very well lit. SERVICE IS OUTSTANDING, with personalized instruction about the food.

We had the loveliest first time at Zaffron Bloom! The food was delicious! We got the beef platter, eggplant stew, and salmon, along with some appetizers, and they were all so flavorful and delicious! Their homemade drinks and teas were delightful, and the doobh (yogurt drink) was the perfect palette cleanser with the platter. We’ll definitely be back! here’s to Zaffron Bloom!

This family restaurant deserves more than five stars, the owners greet you very warmly, take into account your wishes. The interior itself is very cozy, here you can buy a variety of teas, we were interested in black tea with saffron, we have not seen anything like this anywhere. You can also buy T-shirts and other things, a kind of store in the restaurant. Pleasant music plays. From the dishes we ordered rack of lamb shashlik and it was fantastic, the meat was so tender that it almost did not need to be chewed, the taste was incredible. We also ordered salmon in pomegranate sauce and this dish surprised us so much, sweet and sour salmon is great. Chicken breast shashlik was also great with the taste of butter, it is excellent. From the appetizers we ordered smok eggplant and kehke badimdzhan as well as borant esfonage, it was also delicious. We liked everything here, I definitely recommend visiting this wonderful restaurant, we want to come back again soon . Parking along the road is free any day of the week.
